So alone in a crowded room

Spin with me beneath the stars

As the world cries martini tears

As the men order in new beers

And my soul weeps for what could have been,

And you laugh along with them, 

unobserving-

Quiet strength

Driving in my car

Don't know where I'm at

Didn't seem so far

Just don't think it's that-

I've kind of lost my way

And I can't see my friends,

But just like everything in life,

This time will surely end

I'll turn off the roundabout,

Discover a hidden sign,

I'll make a choice to do or go

When it's the proper time

Sometimes movement hides the stillness

And you trick yourself; 

'I'm drowning my way through this'

Coping, surving, being strong-

When suddenly you realise

You've got it all so wrong

All life and beauty is achievable

At least you're starting with a goal

And much better still, girl, you got soul-

So find the minute,

Each chance is yours

Make a decision

Put yourself first!

Make yourself happy

And then help them too

After all, don't they love you?

So many things

Have Changed

since I saw you last.

I have crossed oceans

Flown and Fallen

from the skies,

Caught myself and 

been my own Hero.

So many things

have Changed.

There have been many faces,

Such wide smiles and

some Sorrow,

a little anger-

and now I am New.

Hello to you once more, for

Whils't we were Apart,

seeking unknowns to explore,

Change also remade you.

And we were of one heart,

the same through and through...

Now Fear.

Despite leaving our cocoon,

Eyes meet souls and-

Warm.

Hearts meet on lips,

And all is Home.
